Conversation 2 is designed for individuals who have a solid foundation in Spanish and are ready to expand their skills by incorporating past tenses, more advanced vocabulary, and complex sentence structures. This workshop focuses on improving fluency, accuracy, and confidence in real-world scenarios.
Guided by an expert instructor from Spanish Consultants, you’ll refine your communication skills and deepen your understanding of Spanish grammar and conversation flow.
What You’ll Learn
In Conversation 2, you’ll move beyond the basics of present tense conversations and begin mastering more nuanced expressions.
Key areas of focus include:
• Using Past Tenses (Preterite and Imperfect)
Learn to describe past events, share experiences, and tell stories.
• Combining Tenses
Practice switching between present, past, and future naturally.
• Expanding Vocabulary
Use more sophisticated and topic-specific words to express opinions and ideas clearly.
• Improving Pronunciation and Fluency
Refine your speaking skills with targeted pronunciation feedback and structured practice.
• Structuring Longer Conversations
Engage in discussions that require more detail, explanation, and elaboration.
Who Can Join Conversation 2?
Graduates of Conversation 1

If you’ve consistently attended Conversation 1 and your instructor has evaluated you as ready to advance, you can move on to Conversation 2.
New Students

If you haven’t participated in our workshops before but have intermediate Spanish skills, you’ll need to complete an evaluation to ensure proper placement.
Workshop Schedule
When: Weekly, on Tuesdays or Thursdays (ongoing)
Time Options:
Tuesdays (Morning)
10:15 AM to 11:45 AM (EST)
Thursdays (Evening)
5:30 PM to 7:00 PM (EST)
Duration: 90 minutes per session
Start Date: Join anytime (rolling admission).
How Progression Works
Ongoing Learning
Participants continue in Conversation 2 until they are comfortable engaging in more fluid and complex conversations.
Instructor Evaluation
When you’re ready for more advanced discussions and nuanced language use, your instructor will recommend moving to Conversation 3, our advanced-level workshop.
